How does Dialog360 view privacy?

Dialog360 takes the privacy of its users very seriously, investing significant resources as part of our efforts to protect your personal data, and always trying to adhere carefully to applicable privacy rules. We very much value the trust that our customers place in us. Our Privacy Policy describes how we work to maintain that trust and protect our customer’s information.

How does Dialog360 process user data?

Sections 3 and 4 of Dialog360’s Privacy Policy detail the way in which Dialog360 process personal data and the purposes of that processing. This includes but is not limited to contractual obligations of an IT contract between both parties, help detect fraudulent activity, and for certain marketing purposes.

What is the GDPR?

The GDPR is a regulation passed by the European Union (EU) that was introduced on 25 May 2018. It relates to the protection of the personal data of individuals, such as their names, email addresses, phone numbers, identification numbers etc. This regulation provides more rights and protections to individuals. It also places more obligations on businesses when it comes to transparency, security and accountability in processing personal data.

What is Dialog360 doing to comply with GDPR?

The GDPR has introduced stronger rights and protections for individuals as well as creating new obligations for businesses in terms of how they process individuals’ personal data. We are excited about doing what is best for our customers.

Dialog360’s Privacy Policy, which is easily accessible by all customers, clearly informs customers of the personal data that is collected by Dialog360 and the different processing activities that will take place.

Dialog360 also employs applicable privacy principles and has introduced certain changes to support additional user rights and satisfy all of our obligations. Some example of those changes are set out below.

We will continue to increase transparency and communication with our users to provide you with as clear an understanding as possible about how your personal data is processed.

We will facilitate the right of individuals introduced by GDPR, including the rights of individuals to access and/or delete their personal data upon request.

We will remain dedicated to the approach of “privacy by design and default” through the consistent application of the privacy principles in the GDPR, and the adoption of a privacy-friendly approach in how we operate.

What information does Dialog360 transfer to third parties?

Dalog360 is an IT service provider and has relationships with service providers in order for Dialog360 to offer customers compelling solutions. These service providers may have access to Personal Data in the course of providing these services, which may involve transfers of such Personal Data to other countries. Such transfers are only made for the purposes set forth in sections 4, 5 of this Privacy Policy, to the extent applicable and necessary. Those companies are also required to treat such Personal Data in accordance with all applicable laws with respect to such transfers and any processing performed by those third parties on such Personal Data.

How do individuals make a personal data access request and what information will be provided in response to a valid request?

Dialog360 customers can make a formal request to access your Personal Data held by Dialog360. This process is detailed in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

How do individuals make a personal data deletion request and what information will be deleted in response to a valid request?

Dialog360 customers may make a formal request to delete your Personal Data held by Dialog360. This process is detailed in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

How can individuals avail of the other rights provided under GDPR?

Dialog360 customers may request to exercise their right to rectify their personal data or their rights to restrict or object to the processing of their personal data. If you have such a request then we encourage you to contact us as detailed in Section 5 of our Privacy Policy.

How do I unsubscribe from any marketing messages from Dialog360?

If you no longer want to receive marketing materials from us based upon your Personal Data, you may opt-out of all marketing messages or withdraw your consent from any consent-based processing by sending an email.. In your message, please detail which activities from which you wish to opt out or withdraw your consent. We will comply with your request as soon as reasonably practicable and in accordance with applicable laws.

Finally, please note that we may still send other messages to you, such as administrative messages.

How long does Dialog360 retain personal data?

Dialog360 retains personal data to the extent necessary in relation to the purposes for which the data are collected or processed, which are communicated in our Privacy Policy, or where necessary for compliance with a legal obligation. Where the personal data we store no longer needs to be stored for the reasons outlined above, Dialog360 deletes such personal data, subject to applicable legal requirements.

Security

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Information we are provided will be stored on secure servers. Transaction data is encrypted for your safety.

You should understand data transmitted online is not completely secure. We cannot guarantee full protection and security data, only that we take all reasonable action to protect information sent to us electronically. Transmission of any data by you is at your own risk. Where applicable you may be given access to sections of our site that require a password. You are responsible for password safety and confidentiality.
